Wednesday, May 15, 2013 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Introducing Vision Tritium – 3MLE Production Switchers with Vision Octane production power. Tritium combines the stunning Vision Octane feature set within an incredibly budget sensitive new package.

A full 3MLE modular production switcher with 48 x 32 Multi-Definition inputs and outputs, 6 real 3D DVE’s, 16 channels of internal media stores, 16 keyers, UltraChrome chroma keys, built in Dual Head MultiViewers, external device controls and much more all wrapped up inside a very affordable package. That’s Vision Tritium – Truly Affordable Big Switcher Power.

With Vision Tritium, Ross’ customers can now own a Vision series modular 3MLE panel with a choice of 24 or 32 direct access crosspoint buttons. Vision’s unique AuxKeys, Color Correction and MultiDSK are included in Tritium’s extensive feature set and is fully compatible with standard Vision Octane options. Tritium also offers the ability to convert to a full Vision Octane 3G system as production needs change.

Walailak University Trains with Ross Video’s Carbonite

Monday, April 22, 2013 [Iroquois, ON, Canada] – Walailak University installs a Ross Video Carbonite 1M Production Switcher for classroom training and broadcasting. Located in Nakorn si Thammarat, Thailand, Walailak is a public university that offers programs ranging from medical science to arts.

The Ross Carbonite switcher is being used in Walailak University’s broadcasting program, where students are being taught various productions and workflows for producing live HD programs.

One America News will be a 24/7 hard news and commentary source for national and international news. Technical integration of the new studio and control room is under the direction of Ross business partner Integrated Technologies, Inc (IMT), based in Los Angeles, CA. Ross Video Adds SqueezeBack to the World’s most Compact Master Control Switcher

Monday, April 8, 2013 [Iroquois, ON, Canada] – Launched in 2012, the MC1 gets new features at NAB 2013 including on-air 2D squeeze back, voice over audio mixing and new EAS interfaces along with other enhancements. All of these new features are available at no charge to existing MC1 customers through a simple software upgrade.

The MC1 is a complete master control switcher on a single openGear card. It is fully featured and includes video mixing and keying, onboard animated logo storage and playout, relay program bypass protection, 16 channels of audio mixing, EAS and Amber Alert crawl generation and more.

The virtual studio will show a fully automated broadcast production system with a practical set extended by a virtual set and extensive use of immersive augmented reality graphics. The studio uses Tiffen’s custom-mounted Listec Teleprompters fitted to Ross’ Cambot and Furio Robotic Camera Systems.
