Since 1997, VDS has been providing automation and content design tools for the broadcast, cable television, internet, and post production markets. VDS products offer automated control of broadcast television systems, with an emphasis on graphics-related operations, content distribution and automation, and internet-to-video and video-to-internet systems. These products are used in fully automated sports, news and financial graphics channels as well as the automated management of digital assets and the automated generation of promos in multichannel broadcast or cable facilities. VDS Social Media tools include Watercooler for the automation of Social Media messages in sync with automation playback and Soapbox, for the display of Social Media messages in a graphic format on air. VDS content creation products help broadcast and post-production artists create eye-catching visual effects and apply cutting edge image processing algorithms to still graphics and moving footage. VDS's content creation toolset includes imaging/FX and media import/export plug-ins for editing/compositing systems, and an advanced paint system for broadcast graphics.

Promotor: Graphics Automation in sync with automation system playout. Suite of applications that provides extensive capabilities for the automatic playback of graphic and audio promos. A rules-based system that uses timing and other information from automation and traffic as triggers for graphic, audio and other media events.

DiReCT: Suite of applications that manages the automated transfer of digital assets in response to an automation playlist in multichannel broadcast facilities from the point of ingestion through playout. Assets include graphic animations, bugs, templates as well as audio assets.

NewsTicker Suite: Changes the way we think about Master Control branding. Easy to use, powerful and web-enabled, NewsTicker Suite lets each department contribute the appropriate on-air content for breaking news, weather, sports, paid-branding-events. It turns the Master Control graphics system into a true revenue generator.

SoapBox: Software application that allows broadcasters to easily and reliably publish social media messages to air, typically in a ticker type format. Message parsing, review, editing and committing to air are basic features.

Consulting Services: VDS offers a range of consulting services to help clients meet their specific project and product needs, ranging from system specification, creative definition and software development, through system installation, integration and training.
