BBC Wales Invests in Ross Synergy 3 Switcher

Iroquois, ON, Canada – March 2, 2005 – Ross Video announced today the BBC Wales purchase of a Ross Synergy 3 Video Production Switcher. The Synergy 3 was sold via Gee Broadcast Systems, a Ross reseller within the UK. The Video Production Switcher will be installed in Studio C1, the largest studio in the BBC Wales TV Centre in Cardiff.

The Synergy 3 is a popular choice for live news and event production purposes. Ross Video and Gee Broadcast scheduled a product demonstration with the BBC Wales engineering and production staff. After a thorough evaluation and a visit to another Ross customer site in Wales, the BBC’s decision was to invest in the Ross Synergy 3. The BBC will be using the Ross Synergy 3 for drama, light entertainment and live event productions including the forthcoming UK Parliamentary elections.
