Red Televisiva Megavisión S.A. Invests in Ross

Iroquois, ON, Canada – February 22, 2006 – Ross Video announced today Red Televisiva Megavisión S.A. (MEGA TV) has invested in 3 Synergy 2 Digital Production Switchers. The broadcaster is currently transitioning to DTV.

MEGA TV is the first private television broadcaster in Chile. The switchers will be installed in their principal OB Van and control rooms based in Santiago.

The Synergy 2 is a 2 MLE standard definition production switcher and performs well in a variety of broadcast environments, from network and local news broadcasts to stadiums, mobile trucks and IMAG applications. The Synergy 2 can be upgraded to a Synergy 3 or 4 or to a multi-definition system, as production needs change.
