Iroquois, ON, Canada – March 13, 2006 – Ross Video announced today MTV has invested in a Synergy 3 Digital Production Switcher for use in the production of MTV Live, the new flagship series. As previously announced, MTV will launch in Canada on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

“We needed to revamp the technology in the control room to produce MTV Live, which will broadcast live daily out of the Masonic Temple,” said Steve Coulter, Director Technical Operations, CTV Television. “When choosing the switcher, Synergy had the features, effects, and capabilities to do the job. All the decision makers were unanimously confident that Ross would work for us and the Canadian service aspect is a great advantage.”

MTV Live, a socially engaging, live and interactive talk show about issues of interest to all Canadians will premiere Monday-Friday on MTV. The show will be produced and broadcast from the new state-of-the-art studios housed in Toronto’s historic Masonic Temple.
