Iroquois, ON, Canada – January 30, 2006 – Ross Video announced today TVE Spain has invested in two Synergy 4 digital production switchers. The switchers will be installed in the Barcelona studios and were sold via Moncada y Lorenzo, S.A., Ross dealer in Spain.

“It’s exciting to see how over the past decade Ross Video has established a reputation as an industry leader with the broadcasters in Spain,” said Manuel Canal, CEO, Moncada.

TVE Spain has a long history with Ross Video, having acquired several Synergy switchers in the past. When the time arrived to upgrade their production studios, the decision was to invest in Ross. The two Synergy 4 switchers will be installed in Studios 5 and 6 at the production centre in San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona. TVE produces their flagship dramatic and entertainment programming at the centre.

The Synergy 4 is the largest switcher in the Synergy line up and is designed to handle demanding live broadcast applications.”
