Iroquois, ON Canada - April 14, 2008 - Waterman Broadcasting is the first to invest in Ross’ newest switcher platform, with the purchase of two Vision 4 QMD/Xs, a switcher which offers 4 keys per ME and up to 4 MEs.

Waterman Broadcasting does fourteen newscasts a day across two affiliate networks, ABC7 and NBC2. With the purchase of the Vision QMD/Xs and the added features that it offers, it will be a perfect fit for their fast paced newscasts.

Vision QMD/X provides 4 keys per ME and up to 4 MEs, available in both a small and large chassis. The small chassis, QMD, is a compact 3RU, offering four full 4-keyer MEs and 48 Multi-Definition inputs. The large chassis, QMD-X, offers four full 4-keyer MEs, 6 keys downstream, and 96 multi-definition inputs.
