Iroquois, ON, Canada - January 31, 2008 – The Legislative Yuan Republic of China has invested in Ross, purchasing a Synergy 2 MD Multi-Definition Digital Production Switcher. They will use the switcher to provide feeds from each discussion hall to TV stations wishing to broadcast the parliament meetings.

The Legislative Office needed to upgrade to a fully digital workflow, and the Synergy 2 MD offered a selection of features which they could make use of, “We chose Ross because of it’s strong feature set and affordability, along with the switchers SD and HD capabilities,” said Hsu Hsien He, Technical Manager “While we are only at the SD stage now, we do plan on going HD in the future, and Synergy offers us that option.”
