Interface List
Below is a list of devices that interface with the Vision (software version 11.0a).
Note: Some manufacturers use unique protocols specific to their devices. Others use industry standard protocols. Most use industry standard protocols but fall short of full implementation, have added extensions to the standard, or deviate from the standard in significant ways. Specific testing of the devices themselves and not just to a standard like "VDCP" is therefore required.
If the device is listed below, it has been fully tested at least once by Ross technical staff in our development lab or at a customer location. Most have been retested regularly. Many of the manufacturers listed below have units on indefinite loan in our lab - those are tested, and proven every major software release.
Manufacturers are adding new features all the time. On occasion, this affects a control protocol in unanticipated ways. If this happens without our knowledge, Ross Video will work towards correcting these changes in the next major switcher software release, if not sooner.
It is also possible that our switcher is compatible with many additional devices not listed here. If you have such a device, and would like to control it with your switcher, please contact Ross Video, as we are continuously adding new interfaces.
