Software Upgrades
From time to time, we release new Synergy software with cool new features. Simply follow the links at the bottom of the page to download the latest version - free.
Each software upgrade package contains:
- Software Upgrade files
- An Upgrade Instructions.pdf that gives detailed step-by-step instructions and change information, and can serve as an addendum to your current manual.
If you don't have a copy of Acrobat Reader, we can email or fax you the information before you proceed.
Along with your new software, you may want new manuals. They are available upon request and can be ordered in one of two forms - a printed copy is available at standard prices, but if you'd prefer a .pdf electronic copy, a complimentary version on CD is available. For CD copies, a small shipping and handling charge will apply. Note: DON'T START THE UPGRADE PROCESS AN HOUR BEFORE YOU NEED TO GO TO AIR, if at all possible. While we've made every effort to make the process smooth and maintain compatibility, we may have "tweaked" a feature that you use. Leave time to verify that your installation and memories are still working the way you intended. Some effects, especially Squeeze & Tease related, may need to be rebuilt. Double-check your Custom Control macros too!

Please note: We have two versions of current software. Each version is used with a different issue level of control panel CPU Board. To check the version of the CPU Board in your Synergy control panel, using the menu system:
- Navigate to the Installed Options Menu by pressing HOME, MORE, Setup, Installed Options, and Panel Boards to display the Panel Boards Menu.
- Locate the 4000-033 Panel CPU in the Board column.
- Locate the issue number of the board in the Rev column.

If you are using a USB key:
The USB key will contain all of the files required to fully upgrade your switcher, including the latest version of Squeeze & Tease 3D software and 3D Wipes and Sequences, and the latest version of the Dual Aspectizer software.
If you are using 3.5” floppy disks:
These two disks will contain the necessary files to upgrade the Synergy software. If your switcher has the Squeeze & Tease 3D option and/or the Dual Aspectizer Option installed, proceed to the appropriate section(s) below.

For owners of the S&T 3D DVE option, a set of pre-programmed S&T 3D Wipes and Sequences is available. These files contain all of our most popular sequences and wipes. To use these files, you must be running both S&T 3D and switcher software version 11 or later.
