Digital Production Switchers - Synergy 100 MD

Comprehensive Machine Control

Ross has set the pace for device control from production switchers. Synergy offers a more integrated production environment than any other production switcher on the planet. Whether you are looking to get a more consistent production on the air, or to get a new show on the air with a modest staff, Synergy MD and MD-X have the control power to make it happen.

Note: If you are trading in a Synergy SD chassis to upgrade to a new Synergy MD switcher, you keep your previously purchased software options. We simply install them on your new switcher before it leaves the factory.

Synergy 100 MD is available with the following peripheral device control options.

Audio Mixer Interface
This option provides a direct interface to the Yamaha 01V96 audio mixer. It provides audio-follow-video capabilities to the Synergy 100, as well as audio channel grouping and individual channel level adjustments.

Serial Tally Interface
This option provides an interface between Synergy, and Under Monitor Displays and Tally systems using the industry standard Contribution Serial Tally Protocol. Parameters are configured using the Synergy menu system, and in no way affect the normal operation of the standard parallel tally interface.

Included with this option is the Look Ahead Serial Tally Protocol, which enables the operator to notify an attached serial device of a key crosspoint change before the crosspoint change actually takes place.

Editor Interface
Any MLE or combination of MLEs can be controlled using an RS-232 or RS-422 interface and GVG 100, GVG 200 or 4000 protocol. Use your editor to read and write switcher functions including input selection, pushbutton enable and disable, control settings, and memory registers. This option works great with Editware, Accom, or Sony Editors.
