Robert Trano is a five-year veteran of AVHQ and is the Regional V.P. and General Manager for Los Angeles Staging, Meetings and Rental Services. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities of managing the LA office, he also oversees the General Managers for AVHQ's Hawaii Staging and San Francisco Staging operations.

Audio Visual Headquarters was founded in 1967 as the in-house hotel audiovisual provider for the prestigious Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Throughout the years, we have become the nations premier provider of audiovisual equipment rentals for large corporate events, tradeshows & conventions, broadcast events and small meetings. AVHQ has 34 locations throughout the United States including 9 staging offices, 34 rental operations and a meetings division servicing national the tradeshow and convention market.

For the 72 Annual Academy Awards held earlier this year, Audio Visual Headquarters choose RossGear to provide them with (30) thirty Serial Digital to Analog Converters. The stage displayed (5) video towers, each containing (6) of RossGears' converters. The converters were utilized to convert the 601 digital signals coming from the truck to an analog signal. The analog signal was being fed to AVHQ's Digital Power 8gv projectors, which were housed inside the video towers displaying the evening's images.

Why did we use Ross? There was a comfort level from previous experience. Using Ross, we knew there would be consistency and reliability in every product. We depend on that because of the quantity of cards we required. And, we knew thay could deliver that quantity.

AVHQ was very pleased with the product and the end results. Throughout each step of the rental process, the Ross crew was professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
