Models & Storage
SoftMetal servers are available with 5, 7 or 14 media drives. Drives may be either 500GB or 1TB capacity. Media Drives are configured as RAID 5 or RAID 6 (for 7 and 14 drive systems). Additionally, a Hot Spare can be added to the system. A Hot Spare will automatically take the place of any failed drive on either the System or Media Drive arrays.
