Ross Video is celebrating their 40th anniversary at NAB this year with a new corporate logo, a new tag line “Production Technology Experts” and a significantly expanded NAB presence. The growing range of Ross production technology solutions can be seen at the Ross Booth #N3806 in the North Hall.

In 2003 Al Jazeera, the Middle East-based media group, set up a dedicated sports network to televise international sporting events to viewers throughout the Arabian Peninsula.

Ross Video is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Benincasa as Key Accounts Manager, Central and Southern USA. Ron joins Ross after 23 years at Chyron Hego where he held various positions ranging from Senior Sales Engineer to Director of Sales, North America.

Tasmanian company, Media Imaging put Ross’ Carbonite Production Switcher to the test in December at the Falls Music and Arts Festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania. Running flawlessly during the three day festival, Carbonite fed two video screens, recording devices, using almost all outputs.

Ross Video is very pleased to announce that Yevgen Khovanskyi has joined the company as Sales Director for the Russian Federation. Yevgen joins Ross Video from Riedel Communications where he worked firstly as International Sales Manager for Russia, the CIS and Baltic states before helping to establish the company’s Moscow office and taking the role of Sales Director for Russia.

Ross Video today announced that Kenneth Copeland Ministries of Fort Worth, Texas has deployed a full suite of Ross Video solutions as part of its 53-foot HD production truck that it uses to broadcast the organization’s “Believers of Victory” (BVOV) program worldwide.

The Norwegian company OB-Team A/S is the country’s largest outside broadcasting organisation. With a total of 8 trucks, the company broadcasts a variety of cultural and sporting events every year and has recently started shooting live Division 1 football matches.

After a long and distinguished career in broadcast engineering, Miles Spellman is retiring to become an international man of leisure. Miles retirement plans include traveling, spending time with his family and enjoying his retirement.

Ross Video welcomes Sandra Hernandez to the Ross Video US Sales Team as Regional Sales Manager. Sandra is responsible for the Gulf States, and is based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Simon Hawkings has joined Ross Video in the position of EMEA Pre-sales Engineer. With over a decade of experience in the broadcast sector, Simon has worked in a variety of support, technical pre-sales and product specialist roles across the EMEA region, and joins Ross Video from broadcast solutions provider Miranda Technologies.

Ross Video today announced that Michigan State Athletic Communications has selected a full suite of Ross Video products for use within their extensive control room upgrade.
