Ross Video is Recognized and Honored with the Emmy® Award for Technology and Engineering for openGear

Thursday, January 11th, 2016 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Today, Ross Video is proud to be recognized as one of the select few to be honored with the 67^th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award for openGear. Ross joins a distinguished group of honorees chosen each year by dozens of industry experts and peers, by showing excellence in engineering creativity. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the recipients on September 2^nd, and the awards took place on Friday January 8^th, 2016 in Las Vegas.

Ross is being honored for their Open Modular Platform for Broadcast and Production Distribution Conversion Equipment, the industry standard platform that Ross markets as the openGear.  openGear was first created 10 years ago, as the industry’s only open modular platform and now provides a broad ecosystem of plug and play solutions from a wide range of manufacturers.  Ross will be showing the latest in openGear technology at its IBC Stand in Hall 9.
