Ross Video Launches Streamline.cloud at NAB 2018

Ross Video Launches Streamline.cloud at NAB 2018

  • Popular asset and workflow management tool available on subscription
  • Launch follows success of Inception.cloud

Streamline, Ross Video’s asset and workflow management solution, was launched in 2014 to offer customers working in media-rich productions a complete system for indexing and cataloguing ever-growing libraries of images, video and other assets. For NAB 2018, Ross is pleased to announce the launch of Streamline.cloud, a subscription service that provides all of the power of Streamline combined with the flexibility of a cloud-hosted solution.

Streamline.cloud builds on the success of Inception.cloud, Ross’ newsroom computer system and social media management tool, launched as cloud-based services at NAB 2017. Using a similar model, customers will have the option to pay to use Streamline on a monthly or annual basis in addition to the tradition purchase model.

Files can be stored either in the cloud or in their local facility and moved seamlessly between locations using Ross Video’s innovative Cloud Gateway to provide end-to-end encryption. Streamline.cloud can be used for graphics media asset management paired with Ross Video’s XPression motion graphics platform or as a full video production MAM paired with playout servers like Ross Video’s new Tria News.

Streamline.cloud will be configured and managed by Ross Video using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Setup, training and maintenance are all included in the monthly price. With a low cost of entry and minimal maintenance this is the ideal solution for small operations in need of asset management, while at the same time being powerful and scalable enough to support the world’s largest operations with hundreds of concurrent users. Streamline.cloud is also unique because it supports a full MOS workflow, integrating with both cloud and on-premise devices.

“Cloud solutions offer the option to scale up or down based on the changing needs of your production,” says Jenn Jarvis, Marketing Product Manager for Editorial and Asset Management. “We’re seeing the idea of cloud production maturing rapidly and Ross is ideally-placed to respond to this growing trend with cloud products that are powerful, flexible and reliable.”

Packages and specific pricing are available at www.streamline.cloud. Subscriptions will be available starting in May.

Ross Video is moving for NAB2018! We will be on booth SL3305 in the Lower South Hall for the duration of the show.
