As Director of Creative Services for Ross Video, Jim leads an elite team of XPression and Unreal artists who deliver cutting edge solutions to a variety of Ross clientele. With the working title of Mission Commander, Jim leads the business, marketing & sales, as well as the production efforts of Rocket Surgery, Ross Creative Services. Jim works closely with the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Services, and works hand in hand with the Sales & Marketing Teams interacting directly with customers and business partners. Doyle is also responsible for the long-term strategic development of the company’s Creative Services business, including the ongoing improvements to our people, processes, systems and technology.
Doyle has a long history in creating compelling graphics for broadcast and production, building and managing creative teams, and inventing and implementing efficient graphics workflow tools and processes that have become standard methods used throughout the industry. Doyle previously worked with Media General as General Manager of their centralized graphics operation MGFX as well as NBC Universal as Director of Design. Jim joined the company in April, 2015 with Ross’ acquisition of Rocket Surgery Design Services.
Doyle has a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from Texas Christian University at Fort Worth, and a Master’s in Marketing Certification from Cornell University at Ithaca. Jim grew up in small-town Texas near the beach and enjoys his time in the surf, no matter where that beach may be.
