Ross Video Manages Audio Loudness

Iroquois, ON, Canada – April 6, 2011 – Ross Video is announcing Audio Loudness processing at NAB 2011 using Linear Acoustic® AEROMAX® technology.

The LDP-8242 Loudness processor actively and automatically manages and corrects loudness level changes in the audio content. The Linear Acoustic AEROMAX algorithms apply adaptive loudness correction across mutliple frequency bands to remove abrupt loudness changes while best preserving the original audio content.

Loudness processing can be configured for a full 5.1 surround sound environment or set to process stereo pairs. Video processing through the LDP-8242 is fully compensated to match the audio processing delay in order to maintain proper audio to video timing.
