Ross Video’s DashBoard 6.0 Release Now Available

Tuesday, September 10, 2013 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Ross Video announces that the next major version of DashBoard, its popular, open facility control and monitoring solution is now available for free download from www.rossvideo.com.

DashBoard 6.0 includes several major new features, including PanelBuilder to create custom control panels, sophisticated Timers and VDCP Support.

PanelBuilder™ allows the user to easily create custom control panels, so that GUIs can be simplified for use by non-technical staff.  With custom panels, controls from multiple devices can be grouped logically to allow the operator to focus on the production, and less on the equipment.  Graphical signal paths with live status indicators can also be created.

Timers DashBoard now features timer components that can count up, down, or report time of day.  DashBoard’s timers can trigger events, and also be used as a data source for Ross’ XPression graphics for elements such as shot clocks and added time graphics.

BlackStorm Video Server Support DashBoard can now control Ross’ BlackStorm Video Servers natively via VDCP allowing video transports to be built into Custom Panels.
