UX Xperience - Virtual Solutions Control

UX XPerience is a highly flexible and customizable control platform with an easy-to-use intuitive touchscreen graphical user interface. The application provides seamless integration with tracking systems and real-time 3D rendering engines such as XPression and Voyager. It comes installed on a touchscreen PC for virtual set camera calibration, scene manipulation, media replacement, event triggering, MOS newsroom integration, animation control, robotic camera movement control and more.

Customizable Interface

Highly flexible and customizable UI optimized for tracking with virtual sets and augmented reality. The intuitive design of the interface results in shorter training time.

Extensive Integration

UX supports most tracking system, tracking protocols, and camera mounts in the industry. Don’t make compromises, select the right system for your production.

Production Control

UX was designed to optimize live production operations and increase operator efficiency. Reaction to changing production circumstances and needs was never easier or faster.

Improved Workflow

UX offers remote control to automate production workflows for efficient operations. Combine complex virtual moves and camera moves into a single button event, and provide control over animation sequences, as well as full synchronization with material changes.

Streamline Calibration

Turn calibration into an easy and fast process by using UX’s toolset. Regardless of the tracking system, or combination of systems, UX provides all the necessary tools for perfect calibration.

Efficiency of Operation

UX shorten downtime between shows by loading different scenes and projects with a single click of a button. UX also integrates seamlessly with MOS based newsroom control system for streamlines and efficient production pipeline.

and the following 3rd party systems:

MoSys™ | Stype | Motion Analysis | Egripment | Sky Cam | Spidercam® | BlackTrax | Ncam® | Vinten | Talon

Features

Intuitive Control

UX offers an operator environment designed specifically for the non-engineering user. It provides extensive ease-of-use by taking the technical complexity out of deploying and operating virtual environments.

Direct Control

UX allows the operator direct access to objects in the scene, and the ability to move, rotate, scale, save and animate them without going into the editor on the engine. In this way, last second changes can take place easily and effortlessly.

Tracking

With UX, it is possible to mix and match tracking protocols and camera mounts to meet the requirements of the production. Whether it’s manual heads, mechanical encoders, cable cams, or optical tracking systems, they are all transparent to UX.

Workflow and Connectivity

UX supports seamless integration with MOS based newsroom systems. By using the UX Events as templates, journalists can easily select an event, populate it, and add it to their stories. UX can then be used in conjunction with Overdrive for a fully automated production.

Configuration & Monitoring

UX Config controls the configuration of project files and network settings and provides the status of cameras, tracking streams, and network connections.

Third Party integration

UX Virtual Camera Control (UX VCC) is designed to provide Ross virtual camera control and tracking for use in applications not requiring the full UX feature set, as well as for non-Ross graphics engines.
