Ross Video Adds Employee Ownership

Iroquois, Ontario, Canada – August 20, 2010 – Ross Video today announced that it officially moved from being a family owned company to a family and employee owned company. The company now has 71 new employee shareholders through the creation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, or ESOP. All Ross employees around the globe now have the opportunity to buy stock.

Ross Video is enjoying its 19th consecutive year of record growth. Last year it undertook its first acquisition moving into graphics with the purchase of Netherlands-based Media Refinery. This July Ross Video purchased two additional companies – Canadian-based Norpak adds additional data insertion technology and Australian-based Codan Broadcast adds a full line of video routers. All acquisitions were accomplished without the need for external financing, other than the use of a standard bank facility.

“Ross employees are as passionate about Ross Video as I am,” said David Ross, CEO and majority owner. “The team here at Ross has built an incredible company and they now have the opportunity to more fully share in our success as partners in the business.”
