Frequently asked questions
Rio Replay is a professional replay platform for live sports and event production. It combines an intuitive, operator-focused replay panel with flexible server options to support productions from HD through to UHD.
Rio XL is a new 3RU server that expands Rio Replay into larger HD and UHD productions. It supports up to 16 HD inputs with 8 replay outputs, or up to 8 UHD channels, along with super slow motion and XAVC-I support.
Both support the Rio Replay panel and its intuitive operator workflow, but are designed for different production requirements. Mira supports HD and 1080p workflows, while Rio XL expands Rio Replay into larger HD and UHD productions with higher channel capacity and additional capabilities.
Rio Replay is designed for broadcasters, sports production teams, schools and colleges, venues, stadiums and arenas, and OB trucks. Its flexible server options allow customers to choose the configuration that best fits their production requirements.
