Ross Video Introduces Telestration and Touchscreen Applications for XPression

Tuesday April 2, 2014 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Today, Ross Video announced that it will be showcasing state-of-the-art Touchscreen and Telestration applications for XPression at NAB 2014. The applications have been created by Coiron Visual Developers, a trusted and talented XPression partner with significant expertise in building powerful custom applications for virtual sets and augmented reality.

“Coiron will offer a generic Touchscreen application as well as custom graphics creation and integration for special projects,” says Brian Olson, Director of Graphics Marketing Product Management at Ross Video. “The Telestration application uses an output layer of XPression rather than needing special hardware, which makes it ideal for cost-conscious sports producers. It’s also possible to deliver replay footage over IP to the Telestration PC or wireless tablet, making setup a breeze.”

As well as being able to draw into an XPression layer via a remote touchscreen over IP, the Telestration application has server transport controls to move forwards and backwards, and even freeze-frame instant replays. The Touchscreen and Telestration applications for XPression will provide customers with the toolsets they need easily and cost effectively.
