Ross Video bundles CueScript Teleprompters & Software

Thursday, September 10th, 2015 [Amsterdam, The Netherlands] – Today, Ross Video and Cue Script jointly announce an agreement whereby Ross will resell CueScript teleprompters and software in conjunction with Ross Robotics and Inception product lines. Ross will be showing these solutions on Stand 9.C10 at IBC.

logoRoss and CueScript have been working together closely for a year and a half to create the best possible integration between CueScript prompters and Ross Robotics.  The goals were to make it easy for customers, to optimize shot performance and to deliver the best on air results.

The integrity of the prompter itself and the way it mounts to a robotic camera platform can dramatically affect the performance of the camera system by sometimes adding vibration – which then translates into movement in the shot. CueScript teleprompters and monitors are specifically designed to minimize these problems.  They combine lightweight and structural rigidity along with a solid mounting scheme to Ross Robotics that in turn achieve vibration-free robotic camera movements.

“The guys at CueScript have been great at taking our feedback, and together we’ve created a well integrated solution that will achieve great results for our clients.  We decided to make it simple and offer a series of complete packages so that our customers can buy everything required from Ross,” states Bruce Takasaki, Marketing Product Manager for Ross Robotics.

The partnership with CueScript has also allowed Ross to bundle modern, proven and rock solid prompting software and teleprompters with every Inception News System.

“Prompting is a key element of any newsroom environment and is effectively an extension of the newsroom computer system.  We’ve integrated and are now bundling CueScript’s CueIT software with Inception News, while also offering CueScript prompting hardware including CueScript’s famously awesome foot-pedal controller,” explains Shawn Snider, Marketing Product Manager for Inception.  “This puts Ross in a position to provide a comprehensive prompting solution to all of our clients.”

Michael Accardi, President of CueScript adds, “It has been a pleasure working with the Ross Team. They truly understand and appreciate the concerns and demands between prompting and robotic support equipment. We’ve found a great synergy between our two teams. This is the first time a robotics company and prompting company has worked so closely together to bring a better solution to our customers.”
