Sideloading XPression Projects In A MOS-Enabled Newsroom With Project Server

A Project-based graphics workflow keeps all the pieces of your graphics together in one place, and very easy to move around. Changes to an on-air project used to meant that the original project didn’t have the parts required anymore and had to be unloaded so a new version of the project could be loaded for air.

A file-based workflow allows for a lot of last-minute changes, but it is up to the user to keep everything needed to play that graphic accessible.
In the latest version of XPression, we’ve set it up so that projects used in MOS workflows can be changed without having to unload the original project before loading the new project with additional or modified scenes or materials.
