June 10, 2026 – Ross Video is aware of reports concerning a cable camera system incident that occurred during a recent football match in Hungary.
Some media reports and online commentary have referred to the system involved as a spidercam system. Ross Video can confirm that the system involved in the incident was not a spidercam system and was not deployed or operated by Ross Video.
As Ross Video was not involved in the event or the operation of the system in question, we are not in a position to comment on the incident itself.
