Ultricore is a complete integrated control system with standard tools for system configuration & discovery, database & salvo editing, customizable software panels, and northbound/southbound 3rd party control integration. Additional licensable capabilities include ST2110 & NDI endpoint discovery/control, tie-line management & visualization, tally controller & additional 3rd party protocol support.
Like other Ross products, Ultricore is accessed through DashBoard, a universal and user-friendly control interface for setup, monitoring, and day-to-day system management.
Ultricore is our centralized control & management system, designed primarily for the Ultrix media processing platform and NRG utility routers. It integrates with Ross DashBoard software, hardware control panels and Ultritouch interfaces. Ultricore supports a wide range of 3rd party control systems and protocols. Please refer to the relevant FAQ sections for more details on supported integration.
Ultricore-BCS and Ultricore-SVR act as central controllers in multi-vendor environments, enabling control of 3rd party equipment via standard protocols. This includes ST 2110 (NMOS), NDI device integration, and support for routing protocols like SW-P-08, Grass Valley Native, and NV-9000.
Ultricore provides northbound interfaces with standard and licensable functionality, enabling integration with a wide range of 3rd Party control and automation systems. All Ultricore platforms support routing protocols such as SW-P-08, Grass Valley Native, NV-9000, and Ember+. Ultrix frames with ST 2110 I/O can be controlled via NMOS IS-04/05.
Licenses are available as flexible license versions for the following processing functions: Ultriscape multiviewer, Ultriscape caption decoder/signal status alarms, Ultriproc procamp and SDR/HDR conversion, Ultriformat up/down/cross conversion, Ultrisync frame sync and UltrimixMXR virtual audio mixer/EQ/noise gate/limiter.
