XPression utilizes a highly efficient compression codec for video files used in XPression. This gives predictable playout performance capability while still providing a high quality output file for video sources. Ross Video provides a job-based transcoder application with each installation of XPression Studio, Designer, Developer or BlueBox software. While the application is fairly simple, this video covers the basics of converting videos on the local file system of the PC to the XPression Video Codec.
