Opened in 2025, Roig Arena in Valencia is a €400 million venue and the largest indoor arena in Spain. It is home to Valencia Basket Club and hosts concerts, corporate events and large live productions for up to 20,000 spectators. With more than 1,000,000 visitors expected each year, the arena is built to deliver exceptional experiences for fans every time they visit.
At the heart of this is in-venue storytelling. Every screen, graphic and data feed engages people, creating unforgettable experiences. From player introductions to live game action, content is clear, timely and engaging. To support this, Roig Arena requires a unified production platform that delivers consistent content across all displays in real time.
As a new venue, Roig Arena needed to perform at a high level from its first event. The arena is dynamic and supports many event types, including basketball, other live sport, concerts as well as corporate events, often needing to pivot from one to another in the space of a few hours.
Each event requires a different approach to production and storytelling. Live sports need real-time data and fast updates. Other events need flexible content and simple control. Managing many screens, control rooms and content sources introduces significant operational complexity. The team needed solutions that are easy to use, reliable and able to scale as demand increases.
Ross Video delivers a fully integrated production system that brings all key functions into one platform.
Ultrix FR12 provides routing, signal processing and multiviewers, forming a strong and flexible foundation. Carbonite Ultra switchers with Mosaic and TD2S panels support production across the centre cube and large displays. XPression Tessera and Tessera Nodes power graphics and video playback across the video wall, ribbon boards and in-bowl screens. DashBoard gives operators simple and centralised control of LED displays, video and system functions. Custom interfaces from Ross Creative Services make this control even easier. XPression Workflow Server manages content, encoding and system monitoring. Datalinq connects real-time data, allowing live statistics to be shown clearly during events. Together, these tools create a system that is easy to operate, flexible and ready to grow.
Roig Arena delivers reliable, engaging and professional, immersive experiences at every event.
