Ottawa, Canada – November 18, 2022 – Today, Ross Video announced that they were selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc. as part of its annual survey of Canadian businesses, which is now in its 23rd year. To produce the list, the editors reviewed submissions from companies across Canada. They assessed them based on a range of criteria, including work environment, compensation and benefits, family-friendly policies, employee engagement, training and development, community involvement, and more.

Ross Video’s CEO, David Ross, was thrilled to hear about the announcement. “Ross is an employee-owned business, and this award would not be possible without the wonderfully intelligent and dedicated people on the team.”

Ross Video’s application highlighted the company’s strong business performance, including 30 consecutive years of growth, its exceptional, industry-leading work environment, and its commitment to sustainability. It also focused on strong employee benefits and engagement, the hiring of over 200 new Canadian employees over the past year, and the ground-breaking of their Canadian Green Energy Manufacturing Facility Expansion, which expects to create more local jobs while supporting customers in over 100 countries.

Ross was also recognized for several benefits and programs that set them apart from other businesses in the industry, including a flexible hybrid work model, a comprehensive health benefits package, and generous leave policies that include maternity, parental, and adoption leave, as well as sick leave, family medical, and compassionate care.

“We’re incredibly honoured by this award,” said George Angus, CFO and SVP of Administration at Ross Video. “Throughout the pandemic, the HR team has played a critical role in supporting our employees by implementing work-from-home policies, flexible work options, and additional mental health and wellness programs.”
