Ross Video Collaborates with Clear-Com Offering Switcher Operators More Flexibility

Iroquois, ON, Canada – April 20, 2009 – Ross Video collaborates with United Kingdom based Clear-Com, a division of Vitec Group allowing integration of the Ross Video Vision QMD/X production switcher series with Clear-Com’s V-Series Module, a compact intercom control panel. The collaborative technical demonstration, called VisionCom can be seen at Ross Video’s NAB booth # SU1807.

The Clear-Com’s V-Series Module can be mounted directly into the Vision production switcher enabling the operator to keep their attention on the switcher while maintaining easy access to their intercom panel. Intercom is vital in all production environments, allowing users to communicate instructions directly point to point or over a party line that can be heard by all users.
