Ross Video’s Carbonite Continues to Expand with C2X

Friday, August 31, 2012 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Ross Video combines sleek ergonomics with expanded source selection and individual MLE with the addition of Carbonite C2X, Carbonite’s newest production switcher panel.

Built for fast paced, high-pressure productions, the Carbonite C2X is a 2 MLE panel that includes 32 direct access source select buttons and individual memory management keypads for each MLE. It’s the fourth panel to be added to the growing Carbonite family, and is compatible with all Carbonite production engines.

“Existing users of 2 MLE production switchers that were looking to move from SD to MD production equipment, found Carbonite exceeded their needs for keying and layering power.  They requested a control surface that could provide more individual controls but offered a familiar layout,” said Les O’Reilly, Switcher Marketing Product Manager, Ross Video. “We have seen a big demand for a Carbonite panel that would offer these additional control features, particularly from our European customers.”

The Carbonite C2X panel will ship in November 2012.
