Ross Video’s Inception Wins Best of Show Award at NAB 2014

Monday, April 28, 2014 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] – Ross Video’s Inception, the only newsroom computer system (NRCS) built from the ground up with multi-platform content creation and publication in mind, received a Best of Show Award at NAB 2014 in Las Vegas. The Best of Show Award, which was presented by TV Technology magazine’s editorial staff, was new for 2014 and replaced several award programs including TV Technology STAR Awards and Mario Awards.

TVTech - Best Of Show 2014“We are extremely proud of this win. Inception is a great tool, and not only for news organizations,” says Scott Bowditch, Marketing Product Manager at Ross Video. “Inception includes plugins for social outlets that cater to entertainment and sports, and it has all the features required by any professional NRCS. In fact, the ways Inception can be used to produce content is limited only by the imagination of the user.”

NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards, which are for products being introduced at the NAB Show, are judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts on the criteria of innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

“We are enormously proud of our 2014 Best of Show recipients,” says Eric Trabb, NewBay Media’s Group Publisher and Vice President of its Broadcast & Video Group. “Recognition with an award at the NAB Show from NewBay Media’s Broadcast & Video Group is a strong vote of confidence and admiration from our leading industry publications.”
