New Ultrix updates continue to enhance usability

We’re happy to announce the release of Ultrix 4.7 firmware. The Ultrix 12G routing platform provides a compact and powerful combination of routing, multi-viewers, processing, integrated production switching, and control. In case you missed them, here is a summary of the recent 4.6 and 4.7 firmware updates that continue to enhance the usability of this award-winning platform.

Highlights of Ultrix 4.6

 

Closed Captions

ULTRISCAPE-CA is a new license for users to enable closed captions in the Ultrix Multiviewer

SMPTE 2110-40 support

2110-40 Pass through support of ancillary data in Ultrix-IP and Ultricore-IP support

Switcher tally mode

ULTRIMIX-MXR mono channel support

 

Highlights of Ultrix 4.7

  

Adaptive Mode

Adaptive mode is a feature within the Ultricore-IP license that allows SMPTE-2110 networks to dynamically change the data rates of the video streams and automatically update and distribute the SDP file. In other words, your 2110 network now functions just like a normal SDI video router

Ultricore-PRO

Ultricore-PRO is an optional license that allows customers to create Users, Groups, and Profiles to manage access to configuration and control of Ultrix systems.

 

These free firmware updates are available now through customer support.
