Ross Video’s Carbonite Wins 2011 BE Pick Hit Award at NAB

Iroquois, ON, Canada – April 19, 2011 – Ross Video wins a 2011 Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit Award at NAB in Las Vegas for Carbonite, a big switcher production power in an affordable mid-size package.

The prestigious Pick Hit Awards are selected by a panel of independent judges who tour the convention floor looking for innovative products and technology. The winners are based on criteria such as technical and financial improvements the product can bring to a facility’s operation. Broadcast Engineering editors and publishers have no vote in the selection process, ensuring the winners truly represent outstanding achievements in the eyes of a group of people who are representative of those making TV happen.

“It was a great honor to win the Pick Hit Award for Carbonite this year at NAB,” said Nigel Spratling, Marketing Product Manager, Communications, Switchers. “Carbonite is the perfect mix of price and production performance, a fact that has been proven by the record number of orders placed on the show floor, valued at over $1.5m. Winning a “pick Hit’ confirms that Carbonite has been recognized by industry peers as a perfect choice for medium size production systems.”

About Carbonite
Carbonite’s 1 or 2 MLE ergonomically designed control panels offer the capabilities of a much larger switcher.
